I am a smiling girl
I wonder about the world
I hear rain
I see animals
I want a laptop
I am a smiling girl
I pretned to be on vacation
I feel happy
I touch silk
I worry about my friends
I cry when things are sad
I am a smiling girl
I understnad that life isn't fair
I say encouragement
I dream about the future
I try to dance
I try to dance
I hope for peace
I am a smiling girl

Break!
I wish we were still on break. It was so fun! My dad hurt his back on Christmas eve so he stayed home and we went over to my aunt's house to have lunch with my grandparents; it was a lot of fun. We stayed home and watched movies and played board games then, we had cheese and crackers for dinner. After dinner, we opened pajamas and me and my sister stayed up all night! I don't know why we did we just did it was so fun!! On Christmas I got a piano keyboard, new running shoes and a new pair of headphones. After we opened presents I got a popcorn maker, clothes, a new camera, a new phone, a cheap printer( I don't even have a computer!) and Just Dance 2!
Thursday before New Years I went to a New Years stake dance with my friend. It was so weird at first but, I got used to it. They had really good songs and almost everyone was dancing! We met up with some of other friends but, still stuck together in a big group. The most I remember it about it is that it was so hot! Everyone was sweating and you would leave the room just to get air it was really stuffy. We would go outside in the cold probably fifteen degree weather to escape the hot air. They also had a ton of food. A chocolate fountain, water jugs and red vines. I can't believe I danced for four hours! We were so tired after we went to my house and she slept over we basically fell asleep on my couches.

Utopias
Utopias are counter intuitive. They limit choice and agency and they are choosing the path of someones future. They are supposed to be paradise but, instead they are complete anarchy! They are going no where they will always stay the same; since there is no choice there is no progress, and without progress there is no paradise. Of course they have predestination and predestination is the reason why people rebelled; no one likes their future decided for them. Most people believe that they make their own destiny with the choices that they make. There hasn't been one utopia that has survived. Each and everyone fails in some unique way. Like the one I researched was Harmony, Pennsylvania. They had equal pay for everyone of the citizens; and the citizens rebelled as some wanted to be rich and above everyone else. Some got sick with chicken pox and you can guess what happened; they burnt the place to the ground and the rest died from sickness.
I like an imperfect world. I never realized how lucky I am until I read "The Giver". So there is sickness and death and sadness and loss but, I know what true happiness is and what good health feels like and I now whats it like to be alive. An imperfect world is an ideal living for most because most of us life is hard. I love this quote I heard" If life was easy, it wouldn't be hard." That goes without saying, we have to have imperfection to have perfection so when you remove the imperfection there is no perfection. No paradise. Nothing. I hope there is no more utopia attempts in my life or after my life. Because if life was easy it wouldn't be hard........
